As of February 26, 2025, the Sounds of Silence, Friends of the Postpartum Resource Center of New York (SOS), a Fundraising Committee of the Postpartum Resource Center of New York, has ended. After sixteen successful annual run events, the founding group – an amazing group of caring individuals – has decided that it is time to move on from being a fundraising committee of the Postpartum Resource Center of New York.
The Postpartum Resource Center of New York extends its deepest gratitude to Erin Mascaro, the Reilly and Mascaro families, Lisa's "Take Care of You" friends, and all of the volunteers for their dedication and outstanding efforts in raising mental health awareness and vital funds for the essential programs and services of the Postpartum Resource Center of New York to honor Lisa Mary's memory!

For this year’s Sounds of Silence 5k/10k Run/Walk, we offered a 50/50 Fundraiser to benefit the Postpartum Resource Center of New York. The drawing took place on May 20, 2023 at the SOS Run/Walk at Walker Beach in Brightwaters, New York. 294 of the 300 raffle tickets were sold.
