Traumatic Childbirth: The Ever Widening Ripple Effect

Guest Speaker

Just like beauty, birth trauma is in the eye of the beholder. Mothers' voices and their experiences of traumatic birth will be presented along with its long term consequences. Traumatic births can also affect obstetrical providers in the form of secondary traumatic stress and research on this will be described.

Please join us on Thursday, December 6, 2018 for a Lisa Mary Reilly Visioning Educational Series event featuring Special Guest Speaker, Cheryl Tatano Beck, DNSc, CNM, FAAN. Guest Speaker for this event is Heather Flores, Postpartum Resource Center of New York volunteer.
